Actualy our tour at Bandarban was to visit the Bogalake. The places those we have covered previous day was just a bonus. After having an extraordinary boat riding at River Shangu, finally we have reached at "Ruma Bazar Ghat". Its was lunch time, and we all were hungry. We have had our lunch at local hotel. It was handy, cause you have no other choices to take your meal from that remote place.

After lunch, we have hired a local car called "Chander Gari", its one kind of Zeep car, having the roofs are open, and around 30-40 people can accommodate inside it. The reason is, the local people of bandarban are small in size and shape. So they can easily seat 15-20 people at the both side of the back of the vehicle. After that rest of the people used to hand around the car on such a way that the people who are seating inside of it can't see anything outside.

Anyway, its 2000 taka for a "Chander Gari", it will take us to the Bogalake. The roads are some times going uphill, and sometime its going downhill. Obviously the roads are risky. Sometimes the bushes from the both sides of the road just covered it, and its hard to see the road tracks. But the local car drivers are expert enough to keep the vehicle on track.

The road is meandering throughout the mountain. Its a lovely view when the car is going uphill, and you are watching at downhill. It will give you how much above from the normal earth surface you are. Also when car will move through the edge of the mountain, you can easily see the bottom of the mountain, or the mountains which are just beside of it. Bunch of clouds are playing at the open sky, sometimes it will give you a shadow for a split of time.

Bandarban hills are the most green hills from Bangladesh. Its a lovely place to enjoy your holidays. The roads from Ruma Bazar to Bogalake is really outclass, only for its beauty. When the car is moving to the downhill from the top of the mountain, you'll feel like in a roller coaster. Cause you can easily see the car is sliding down through the steep hill. Some people may get afraid of this, but I loved this one.

The roads are a bit narrow, and its a problem when one car is giving side to another one. Its only possible to give a side to another vehicle when there is some rooms beside the road. When the vehicle runs through the road, local people used to get down from the road, sometimes they used to get down a bit at the edge of the mountain.

Everywhere you look at the mountains at Bandarban, I have found plenty of Banana trees. Local people used to call it as "Jungli Kola", and they don't even eat that. Also there are lots of other ever green trees which I don't know by name. I have enjoyed the every moment from the "Chander Gari" ride, specially the landscapes are awesome.

One thing was really amazing is, where ever you go, the sweet shangu river is always with you. When the vehicle will be at the top of the mountain, you can see the river somewhere near to you or your mountain. Its twisting and turning with the mountain roads and mountain. You'll find a newly developed bridge which will help you to cross the shangu river.

There is lots of space at the mountain where local people used to cultivate seasonal vegetables using "Zum Cultivation". Sometimes you'll see some paddy fields which require almost no water. Since we were at the vehicle, and it was jerking, also it was moving fast, so I couldn't recognize what sort of crops they were farming actually.

Finally the last 5-10 minutes of your journey will be through the road which is not developed yet. 5/6 months before that time, the vehicle used to drop people at that place. But now a days it will take you through the underdeveloped road. Who knows, they road may be completed by now.
