We have reached at Bogalake yesterday afternoon. We had a cool bath at Bogalake water at afternoon, and the sun was almost wanted to say bye. At night we have stayed at the cottage of "Siam Didi". Its cheap by price, and handy to pass your night. They will also provide you food along with the accommodation. So its a nice package.

The people who lives around the boga lake are "Boom" by religion. They have their own language. They are polite, and will welcome you from their heart. You'll love the accompany of the local people. Also beside the lake you'll find an Army camp for security reason. You have to entry your name at the camp before anything.

From the Ruma Bazar, you have to hire a guide for your travel. The guide will be helpful when you are using the "Jhiri Path"(using trekking). But if you are using road that we have used, that case the guide is useless. But you are bound to hire a guide. Thats why we had a guide, for nothing.

After a sound sleep at night by the boga lake, we have waked up by 7:30 of the morning, and we started to expedite the proximity of the Boga Lake area. There is a narrow path beside the boga lake which was made from the foot mark of people. We have used the track to walked as long as the path was visible. At morning, its a lovely place to watch.

Birds are singing, gentle bridge is waving and cooling the bodies. Some small fishes are jumping at the lake water, sometimes you can see the fishes at the upper surface of the water. Due to the sky color, some times you'll find the water color of the lake is blue. The water of the lake is clear like crystal. You can easily see the shadow of the mountain or the trees at the water of the lake.

This lake is the only water source for that particular area. People used to collect water from the lake and use that for their daily needs including cooking, having baths, washing cloths, etc. Also local people used to catch fish from the lake using "Borshi"(I forgot the English name of it). I found most of them are young girl who were fishing at the lake.

I have heard about the changing color of the lake. Its supposed to change color three times a day. I mean different color at different time. For example at morning, at noon, and at afternoon. I didn't have any chance to stay at noon there. Cause we had to back and we had a night journey from bandarban to dhaka. So I missed the lake at noon.

The specialty of the lake is, its around 1200 ft above from the sea level, and this is so far at the highest place of Bangladesh in terms of lake position.
